
Black Beans=
Fiber and Protein! Those are two major things Black Beans are high in. I went to the nearby Jubilee Grocery and got some salad and spinach but realized when I got home... I did not want that at all. I decided to have some black beans and pair it with the Morning Star Black Bean Burger I purchased. Yum.
1/3 c of Trader Joe's Basmati Medley Rice 3g fiber
1 small handful of Cherry Tomatoes (I have to eat these because I need to get rid of them)
1/2 c of Trader Joe's Black Beans 6g of fiber and 6g of protein
1 Morning Star Black Bean Burger (A favorite of mine) 4g of fiber and 11g of protein
1 tbsp of hummus
drop of Tomato Chutney
1 c of Trader Joe's Frozen Broccoli 2g of fiber
From this meal I've gotten 1 and 1/2 servings of veggies. And I've gotten 15g of fiber and 17g of protein! Which will keep me full all night...but I'm still having a pineapple dried fruit ring for dessert :)
