Sophia's Light Breakfast

!!!WAKE UP!!!

Breakfast is my all time favorite meal, but now that I've decided to go Vegan, I think lunch will probably become my favorite because I'll be able to experiment more. (yet there are still so many exciting foods to have for breakfast.)

For Breakfast I had some Soy Pita Bread with Roasted Red Pepper and Hummus Dip, and a Strawberry Smoothie!!

Breakfast!!! Sophia, Breakfast!!!!

My absolute favorite meal of the day. BREAKFAST!!! YA!!!! Studies have even shown how eating breakfast helps people stay in shape because it gives you a great energy boost for the start of your day and by the time lunch comes around you're not starving.

"It's Quality not Quantity."- It may seem like I'm eating a lot but the calories are very low. To cut down on morning calories I scramble egg whites (vegetarian cage free eggs) and follow the serving sizes a much as a can...ps, I normally like cereals high in Protein since I'm a vegetarian and also high in fiber but today I was craving this Special K.

Vegetarian Cage Free Eggs- 2 egg whites = about 34 cals
Morning Star Soy Links- 2 = 70 cals
Special K Cinnamon Pecan cereal (with soy milk)- 3/4 cup= 120 cals (but I did go back for just a bit more so ) 150cals
WITH A GRAND TOTAL OF= 254 calories. YA! YA! YA!
I got protein from the soy links and egg whites, and us vegetarians need Protein.
